UNIQUE OF SPEECH ACTS USED IN SONG LYRICS OF TAYLOR SWIFT IN THE THEME OF LIFE LESSONS

Illocutionary act is performed by saying something and includes acts such as betting, promising, denying, stating, apologizing, threatening, predicting, ordering, requesting. This study aimed to analyze the illocutionary function of in three-song lyric Taylor Swift that has same theme, life lessons. After data being collected, analyzed based on theory Searle (1996) Leech (1983). The shows there are four categories found three songs Swift. Those representatives, directives, commisives expressives. representative was most dominant category with 67 (70,52%), followed directives 16 (16,84%), commissions 10 (10,52%), expressives 2 (2,1%). Moreover, types functions song lyrics There Collaborative, conflictive, competitive, convivial. Collaborative (69,56%) conflictive 5 (21,73%), competitive 1 data(4,34%) convivial (4,34%). Lastly, speech used ELT some implications for students' skill.
